Three walls. One corridor. A summer of youth leadership coming together.
Join us for a hands-on stewardship day as the Alleyway Mural Loop Eco-Stewards — our fellowship of young people ages 12 to 26 — lead the San Pedro community through the prep work behind the murals: scraping, patching, and priming walls at three sites along the corridor to get them mural-ready.
This is the groundwork for something bigger. Every wall we prep this Saturday becomes a canvas for the stories, culture, and identity of the San Pedro Main Street corridor — and the youth fellows leading you through it are the same young people who'll help paint them.
What to expect:
Youth fellows leading crews through wall prep and priming, site by site
Hands-on volunteer work — no experience necessary
A chance to meet the Eco-Stewards ahead of their closing celebration on August 16
Lunch!
What to bring:
Closed-toe shoes
Clothes you don't mind getting messy
A water bottle
Sunscreen or a hat
Materials and supplies provided by Revitalize San Pedro Partnership.
